Comfort Leaf Company History
Comfort Leaf was founded in 2014 by a team of people who experienced the benefits of CBD for themselves, and wanted to make it available to the masses. The three founders—Andy, Steven, and Kristen—all use CBD oil for different reasons, ranging from rheumatoid arthritis relief to daily wellness.
The company is based in Orlando, Florida. In addition to their website, you can also purchase their products through Florida-based Learn Sativa University and Dr. Richard Silva’s Ultra Wellness Center.
Hemp Farming and Sourcing Practices
Comfort Leaf sources their hemp from farms contracted with the Kentucky Industrial Hemp Pilot program.
They extract their CBD oils using supercritical carbon dioxide. CO2 extraction is considered the best extraction method for CBD oil since it produces a highly-concentrated extract safely and efficiently.
After extraction, their CBD oils undergo additional processing to create their 100% THC-free CBD isolate. Finally, each batch of Comfort Leaf CBD oil is tested by a third-party lab for potency and safety (confirming that no antimicrobials, heavy metals, mycotoxins, or pesticides are present).
Comfort Leaf Product Selection
Comfort Leaf exclusively sells CBD isolates, so their products contain absolutely 0% THC and pose no risk of producing a high. Their CBD oils contain 99% pure CBD, in a base of MCT oil, with no other cannabinoids or terpenes. (The one exception here is their vape oil, which include CBDV and some terpenes for flavoring.)

CBD Tinctures
Comfort Leaf’s CBD tinctures are available in three strengths (ranging from 500mg to 1500mg) and three flavors (lavender, peppermint, and unflavored). Each CBD tincture contains their THC-free CBD isolate hemp extract in a base of MCT oil. Comfort Leaf does not specify where the flavoring comes from.
Comfort Leaf provides a detailed dosage guide for each tincture, explaining the appropriate dosage amount based on your pain level and body weight. The suggested serving size is one full dropper. The amount of CBD per dropper varies by strength:
- The 500mg tincture provides 16.5mg of CBD with each full dropper
- The 1000mg tincture provides 33mg of CBD with each full dropper
- The 1500mg tincture provides 50mg of CBD with each full dropper
The CBD tinctures can be applied sublingually (and held for 30 seconds before swallowing). They can also be mixed in with food or drink. You can even apply their tinctures directly to your skin, or add them to your favorite lotion to create your own CBD cream.
CBD Vape Oils
Comfort Leaf also offers CBD vape oils. Each CBD vape cartridge contains 150mg of their CBD isolate, with a proprietary terpene blend for flavor. Flavors include Gelato, Pineapple Express, and Strawberry Lemonade. The cartridges are compatible with most vape pens. To use, simply swap out the cartridge on your pen with this one, and inhale.
CBD Gummies
For those who like to eat their CBD, there are Comfort Leaf’s CBD Gummy Bears. Each bottle contains thirty 10mg CBD gummies in a mix of fruity flavors, including lime, cherry, lemon, pina colada, and orange. In addition to the CBD isolate, each gummy includes citric acid, corn syrup, fumaric acid, gelatin, lactic acid, pectin, sorbitol, sugar, and artificial flavors and colors.
CBD Topicals
While not yet available at the time of writing, Comfort Leaf is currently developing a CBD topical. Their Rapid Relief CBD Lotion is formulated to relieve sore muscles, thanks to 300mg of CBD, cooling menthol, and a mix of natural ingredients designed to moisturize the skin and reduce inflammation. These include arnica oil, tea tree oil, coconut, shea butter, cocoa butter, jojoba oil, aloe vera, and natural preservatives from grapefruit oil.

Product Selection
With a selection of tinctures, vape oils, gummies, and topicals, Comfort Leaf offers a CBD product for every method of administration. Whether you like to vape your CBD, ingest it, or rub it into your skin, you’ll find an option here.

Source
Comfort Leaf extracts their CBD oil from non-GMO, organic Kentucky-grown hemp. Everything they sell is produced entirely in the USA. Their gummies do contain corn syrup, added sugar, and artificial flavors, but all of their other products use completely natural, non-GMO ingredients.
For those who are interested, Comfort Leaf explains their full production process in detail on their website.
Potency
Comfort Leaf partners with third-party labs Green Scientific Labs and ProVerde Laboratories to test each batch of their CBD oils. The company then displays these test results on their website. Customers can also scan a QR code on their product packaging to directly look up the Certificate of Analysis for their batch.
Each product page includes a link to view the latest test results for that batch. At the time of writing, some of the links for their tinctures were broken, but all test results were available for download on the website’s Lab Testing page.
Taste
Many people find hemp’s natural earthy taste unappetizing. Fortunately, Comfort Leaf offers a range of flavors to suit any palate, from their pineapple vape oils to their lavender tinctures. They also sell an unflavored version of their tincture for CBD purists.
